It's common knowledge that people prone to acne have oily skin. Most try a myriad of over the counter topical and internal drugs that never quite do the trick. Then there are the insanely expensive spa treatments. This post is going to show you how to get rid of your adult acne and pimples at almost no cost. 1. Debunk the myth Yes, you have oily skin. No, washing it with soap several times a day and leaving it dry is NOT the answer. Instead, wash only twice a day and replace the lost skin oils with natural plant oils or butters like avocado or coconut oil, Shea or cocoa butter. 2. Cleanliness is next to no Acne Change your pillow every other day. While you sleep, oils and dirt from your hair will collect on your pillow and these will be deposited on you face as you change positions. 3. Water! Drink it! A lot of it. Approximately, 8 glasses a day. Water helps to cleanse your system of toxins and free radicals that contribute to acne and pimples. 4. Put the junk in the trunk - actually throw it away altogether You should say no to fizzy drinks, bagged chips, fast food and artificial things in your diet. These are all empty calories that your body doesn't know what to do with so it. They are toxins. Stay Away! 5. DIY Finally, some stuff you can find in your kitchen that will help you get rid of those annoying little (huge in some cases) pimples, acne and scars. Tomatoes - slice one and rub on your face once a day. Leave on for 10 minutes then wash off and moisturize. Honey & Lemon - mix a teaspoon of each and apply to affected areas, leave for 10 minutes, wash off and moisturize. And that's how to do it. Easier read than done, but try it for two weeks and the results will spur you on.
We've grown up in a world ruled by consumerism. Everywhere we are bombarded with ads telling us what we need and what we should get. We jump unto one bandwagoon after another because it makes us feel cool and hip. But it's tiring keeping up with the latest trend. Don't you just sometimes want to slow down or stop all together and rest for a quiet minute when all you do is not think about the next best gadget to spend money on or the next hip place to go and blow your salary?
